RAULI BLACK Installations on the Coast of Rogaland
NORWAY
Astera Solar designs and installs solar systems for industry and agriculture in Rogaland, on the exposed southwest coast of Norway. These installations use the RAULI BLACK system on tiled pitched roofs, including two poultry farms on an island off Stavanger at 109 kWp and 185 kWp. Wind uplift, wet snow and salt-laden coastal air make this one of the most demanding regions in Europe to build in. As Astera's CTO Kristian Prestrud Astad puts it: "If the mounting fails, the whole installation fails, no matter how good the panels are."
