OUR STORY

Our story began in 2016, on the roof of a modest house, under the wide northern sky. We were a group of Finnish solar panel installers, battling with poor-quality mounting brackets that were never designed for the harsh realities of the North.

The biting winds, heavy snows and long winters demanded more. And when no one else would rise to the challenge, we did. We decided to take matters into our own hands and create better products for ourselves. We did not care how difficult they would be to manufacture or how much they would cost. The only thing that guided us was a clear goal: to make installations faster and easier, and to craft products of the highest possible quality. They must be made in Finland, from Nordic raw materials, by people who understand the conditions firsthand. That was our decision – and our commitment.

As time went on, one Scandinavian country after another introduced strict requirements for solar panel mounting systems. It became clear we had been right from the start. To endure the North, products must be exceptional.

Word about the "new revolutionary brackets" began to spread. Quiet whispers turned into phone calls from our competitors. They, too, wanted the "new revolutionary brackets" we had developed. But we said NO to them all. This was our path. We simply wanted to make our own installations more efficient, safer and smarter.

But momentum is a powerful thing. The snowball we had set rolling could not be stopped. Soon, it was not only competitors, but wholesalers too, knocking on our door, eager to put the "new revolutionary brackets" on their shelves. In 2019, almost three years after we built the first prototype, we made a new decision. We would share our products with the world. We named them RAULI, after Rauli Wathén, the designer of the first prototype.

When we released our first videos on social media, the response was immediate and overwhelming. Inquiries poured in from all across Europe. Everyone wanted the "new revolutionary brackets" – RAULI – for their own projects.

Our story expanded quickly into the Nordic countries, the Baltics and Central Europe. We traveled from exhibition to exhibition. We signed distribution agreements, launched the RAULI APP to make life easier for designers, sellers and installers, and introduced new products to meet growing demand. The pace has been extraordinary.

Over the years, we have been honored with awards and recognitions. But the most important thing has never changed. We remain true to our original mission: to give professionals products that are easy, safe and simple to work with. Without ever compromising on quality.
